Solo rider sharing a twin room £2125

Solo rider own room £2750

Join us from Sunday on a truly spectacular 11 night 12 day fully guided tour.

This incredible tour also includes the stunning Gorges Verdon (a World heritage site known as Europe’s Grand Canyon), the world renown balcony roads of the Vercors (another world heritage site) and the iconic Route Napoleon.

The Route des Grande Alpes (RDGA) is from Thonon Les Baines on the banks of beautiful lake Geneva to the French Riviera town of Menton on the Mediterranean coast.

Taking 3 days to cover 423 miles the RDGA has 17 of the most incredible mountain passes, world famous ski resorts (including Les Gets, Cluses and Val d’Isère), beautiful French Cities & towns such as the walled city of Briançon, beautiful Guilestre and Borg Saint Maurice. On this tour you will ride over the highest mountain pass (Col de I’iseran 2770 m or 9090 ft) & highest paved road in the French alps (Cime de la Bonette 2802 m or 9193 ft) the RDGA is a bucket road for all motorcyclists. You’ll find the full list of passes and itinerary with mileage at the bottom of the page.

Menton is a beautiful town on the French Riviera where we will take a well earned day off the bikes. You can either explore the town with its fantastic restaurants & bars, hit the beach or take the short bus ride into Monaco & Monte Carlo and visit the beautiful harbour with its billion dollar yachts, excellent eateries, the Monte Carlo casino and of course the famous F1 racing circuit.

The next leg of this wonderful tour takes us along the fabulous Route Napoleon with its mountain passes and stunning views.

We will stay for a night in the beautiful town of Castellane and spend the next morning riding around Europes Grand Canyon and World heritage site the Gorges Verdon. The afternoon sees us head further up the Route Napoleon to another World heritage site and our hotel in Lans en Vercors near Grenoble for a 2 night stay. The Vercors is truly magical with its picturesque towns and stunning balcony roads with the famous Combe Laval and of course the jaw dropping Col de la Machine.

Saying goodbye to the Alps we head off to Auxerre via some wonderful French roads & stunning countryside.

Auxerre to Arras via Reims is a fabulous ride with more super roads & stopping off at the famous Circuit de Gueux where you can ride a section of the now disused racetrack. Riding along the main straight with its grandstands is quite surreal, its now a public road so no speeding!

Arras to Calais via the peage is a short hop and our last day together.

Total mileage is around 2,500 in mainland Europe.

We only take a maximum group of 10 people on tour. We find this to be the perfect sized group. Booking early is highly recommended, this tour always sells out incredibly quickly. GPX routes for your sat nav will be provided if required.

N.B Days 1 & 12 will require us to take the peage which is a fast toll road/motorway it’s an unfortunate must do to get to & from the beautiful Alps, however unlike our motorways its rarely busy.

We should really call this the 'Chocolate Tour'! The home of delicious chocolatiers, Belgium is truly stunning.

Ypres looks as though it was built hundreds of years ago, when in reality it was completely destroyed during the Great War. It was rebuilt between the period of 1919 to the 1960’s building by building, returning it to its former glory and beauty. With such a connection to World War 1 there is plenty to see in connection with this terrible time in European history. There are numerous museums to visit, together with the iconic Menin Gate where the sounding of the last post is held every evening at 8pm. It has been held every evening (except during World War 2) since 11 November 1929. It's a humbling and symbolic ceremony.

Bruges is simply a stunning cultural City with some of the most amazing architecture in Europe. Also known as the 'Venice of the North', Bruges has canals intersecting most of the City. Hitching a ride and a guided tour around the City by boat is a must. Superb eateries and of course chocolatiers are everywhere! For those interested in the arts, the Salvador Dali museum is well worth a visit. A wonderful place and a City you will absolutely revisit (the Christmas Markets are amazing).

Ghent has a medieval charm with gorgeous architecture, and quirky bars. The must see places in Ghent are St Michaels Bridge for that postcard view, the three medieval towers, the Castle of the Count Gravensteen (which is fairy-tail like), the adorable cobblestone neighbourhood of Patershol which is like stepping back in time and a favourite of ours Vrijdagmarkt square for incredible food. Ghent has something for everyone. Contact us for dates and availability.
