Probably on the bucket list for all motorcyclists the Route Des Grande Alpes is simply an incredible motorcycle adventure. Starting close to Lake Geneva in the beautiful town of Thonon Les Bains this exciting road meanders through some of the world's best motorcycling roads and no less than 18 mountain passes. The Iseran, Galibier, Izoard, Colombièr, Bonnet (the highest paved mountain pass in Europe) will leave you awestruck by their incredible views. Ending after 425 miles in the beautiful town of Menton on the Mediterranean coast this is 3 days of riding you’ll never forget.

This fantastic tour doesn’t end there! It’d be sacrilege not to pop into Monaco and Monte Carlo and ride part of the F1 race track wouldn’t it?  From Monaco it's a short trip to Cannes via Nice and Antibes. Then it's time to head north via the historic Route Napoleon, stopping off for a days riding around Europe's Grand Canyon, the Gorges Verdon. This is an absolutely spectacular National Park with roads and views to be amazed by, truly incredible!

A half day's ride from the Gorges Verdon is Grenoble and the Vercors National Park, home to some of the Europe's most spectacular balcony roads and the world famous Combe Laval and the Col de la Machine. So many motorcycle magazines feature this historic and very high road, you’ll be sure to get the ‘money’ shot photo (see Mark's bike at this location below) for your photo album.

As we start heading home there’s still some fantastic riding to be had. We'll visit the Champagn region of France and include a stop at the now abandoned race track the Circuit de Geux, where you can ride down the main straight. It's now a public road surrounded by grandstands, (with an 80kph limit), so don’t get too fruity with your throttle as the local police love giving out speeding tickets!

A truly incredible never to be forgotten tour. Contact us for dates and availability.

Beautiful Belgium. Ypres - Bruges - Ghent - 4 Day Long weekend. Thursday to Sunday tour

We should really call this the 'Chocolate Tour'! The home of delicious chocolatiers, Belgium is truly stunning.

Ypres looks as though it was built hundreds of years ago, when in reality it was completely destroyed during the Great War. It was rebuilt between the period of 1919 to the 1960’s building by building, returning it to its former glory and beauty. With such a connection to World War 1 there is plenty to see in connection with this terrible time in European history. There are numerous museums to visit, together with the iconic Menin Gate where the sounding of the last post is held every evening at 8pm. It has been held every evening (except during World War 2) since 11 November 1929. It's a humbling and symbolic ceremony.

Bruges is simply a stunning cultural City with some of the most amazing architecture in Europe. Also known as the 'Venice of the North', Bruges has canals intersecting most of the City. Hitching a ride and a guided tour around the City by boat is a must. Superb eateries and of course chocolatiers are everywhere! For those interested in the arts, the Salvador Dali museum is well worth a visit. A wonderful place and a City you will absolutely revisit (the Christmas Markets are amazing).

Ghent has a medieval charm with gorgeous architecture, and quirky bars. The must see places in Ghent are St Michaels Bridge for that postcard view, the three medieval towers, the Castle of the Count Gravensteen (which is fairy-tail like), the adorable cobblestone neighbourhood of Patershol which is like stepping back in time and a favourite of ours Vrijdagmarkt square for incredible food. Ghent has something for everyone. Contact us for dates and availability.
